Job Description
Robert Half is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity while developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate thrives in a hands-on leadership role and enjoys solving operational challenges, coaching employees, and improving processes. ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily production activities based on staffing levels, material availability, equipment capacity, and customer delivery requirements.
Assign work and prioritize production tasks to ensure operational goals and schedules are achieved.
Provide technical guidance and support to production employees while maintaining quality and accuracy throughout manufacturing processes.
Communicate production priorities, operational changes, and workflow expectations with employees and leadership to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution.
Partner closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning, Supply Chain, Customer Support, and Human Resources to support production objectives and resolve operational challenges.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
Assist with employee onboarding, training, and development efforts while promoting a culture of accountability and engagement.
Maintain employee training documentation and ensure required certifications and records remain up to date.
Address employee relations and performance concerns in partnership with Human Resources and management.
Promote a safe work environment by reinforcing workplace safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
Support workplace organization initiatives and maintain high standards for cleanliness and visual workplace practices.
Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products throughout the operation.
Monitor production performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and selection activities for production team members.
Support operational goals by fostering teamwork, communication, and a continuous improvement mindset across the production team.
