Job description: Positions available: 1 2nd shift M-F 3:30p-12am Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Supervisor and lead the daily operations of our Pillow manufacturing facility. In this energetic role, you will oversee production processes, ensure safety standards are met, and motivate your team to achieve high-quality output. Your mechanical knowledge and factory experience will be vital in maintaining efficient assembly lines and fostering a productive work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the factory floor, ensuring smooth operation of assembly lines. Lead and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and support to meet production goals. Monitor manufacturing processes, utilizing mechanical knowledge and hand tools to troubleshoot issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper operation of forklifts, power tools, and warehouse equipment. Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with quality control teams to uphold product standards and implement process enhancements. Support warehouse operations by managing inventory movement, utilizing forklift skills when necessary. Qualifications Proven factory experience in a manufacturing environment with hands-on assembly line supervision. Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools and power tools for troubleshooting or adjustments. Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team of production workers. Knowledge of safety regulations related to manufacturing facilities and warehouse operations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and process documentation. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
