Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm (1 position) Report to: Plant Manager Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Supervisor! In this energetic leadership role, you will drive operational excellence, ensure safety compliance, and motivate your team to meet production goals. Your expertise will help streamline processes, uphold quality standards, and foster a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily production activities, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to schedules Lead and manage production or assembly teams, providing clear direction, motivation, and support to meet performance targets Enforce safety standards and protocols rigorously, promoting a safe working environment for all team members Interpret manufacturing documents such as material movement forms, downtime logs, waste and total production numbers Be able to adjust total pillows per minute based on headcount total and mechanical conflicts Train new employees and cross train employees Drive process improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and reducing waste Ensure compliance with safety standards in production areas through regular inspections and safety protocol adherence Manage inventory levels within the warehouse area, coordinating with logistics for raw materials and finished goods movement Supervise a team of 30+ employees across 1-2 pillow manufaturing lines Track daily attendance and time off requests Control and manage overtime hours Excel and Outlook systems used for communication and tracking purposes Skills Proven experience in factory or textile manufacturing facility operations with a strong understanding of production workflows Strong leadership skills in managing production or assembly teams with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies to optimize productivity Ability to adhere strictly to safety standards in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership fuels innovation! $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
