$65,000.00•$75,000.00 per year Job description: RPM Staffing is seeking a results-drivenProduction Managerto lead manufacturing operations and drive performance across safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day production while partnering with leadership to implement strategies that achieve key operational goals. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on the production floor, builds strong teams, and champions continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage manufacturing operations through area leads and supervisors Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments Develop and maintain production schedules for multiple lines and shifts Drive improvements in safety, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction Ensure compliance with company standards for safety, quality, cost control, and delivery Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations Participate in strategic planning and implement action plans to meet performance goals Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for operational challenges Maintain a strong presence on the production floor to support teams and processes Coach, mentor, and develop employees to enhance performance and engagement Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee involvement
Qualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with machining and assembly processes preferred Lean Six Sigma certification strongly preferred (with proven results) Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Manufacturing Engineering principles Experience with operations planning and MRP systems OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred Skills & Competencies Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to plan strategically and execute effectively Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50lbs occasionally Frequent use of hands, arms, and computer equipment Work Environment Combination of office and manufacturing floor settings Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures in non-climate-controlled areas Why Join Us?
