Sylacauga, AL Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Packer in our Sylacauga, Alabama Stamping Facility. The Operator Repack is responsible for general production line work, packaging, labeling, and sorting of products. The ideal candidate will have prior manufacturing experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:
Comply with all safety procedures as required by the Health & Safety Act and/or Company practices or procedures including but not limited to the wearing of all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as specified by the Act or designated by the Company. General production line work, packaging labelling and sorting of products
Matching bin label correctly
Assisting team to progress order
Maintain & improve housekeeping within his/her work area
Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase outflow
Other duties assigned by the management team.
Participate and complete all Health and Safety training or any other training mandated by the Company. Responsible for any equipment that has been assigned, and also responsible for the returning

Participate and complete all Health and Safety training or any other training mandated by the Company. Responsible for any equipment that has been assigned, and also responsible for the returning of the equipment to its correct location when completed. Performing quality checks as you go and communicate deficiencies to the operator / quality inspector/ supervisor. Cleaning and preparation of work area Inspecting and repacking parts from bin to correct bin Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Graduate minimum 2 years' work experience. Ability to meet quota and standards Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks
