We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our team as a Print Finisher . This is a hands-on production position responsible for turning printed sheets and materials into finished products that are ready for our customers. The position involves a variety of work throughout the day and is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying busy, and seeing a project through from start to finish. You will be cross-trained on several pieces of finishing and production equipment, and responsibilities may grow as you gain experience.

Responsibilities may include:

Cutting and trimming printed materials Folding, scoring, creasing, and perforating Booklet making, binding, drilling, and padding Laminating and mounting Preparing signs, decals, banners, and other printed products Counting, sorting, collating, and assembling jobs Packaging completed orders for pickup or shipping Checking finished work for quality and accuracy Reading job tickets and following production instructions Operating and maintaining a variety of print-finishing equipment Keeping work areas clean and organized Assisting with printing and other production duties as needed Cross-training in other areas of the shop Previous printing or bindery experience is a plus, but it is not required. We can teach someone how to operate our equipment and complete the technical parts of the job. Skills can be taught; honesty, integrity, dependability, good judgment, and a strong work ethic are much more important to us. We are looking for someone who pays attention to details, takes honor in doing things correctly, can work independently once trained, and is willing to jump in wherever needed. Because many of our jobs are custom and deadline-driven, being able to stay organized and move between different projects is important. This is an active, hands-on position and requires spending much of the day standing and moving around the production area, along with regularly handling boxes, paper, and printed materials. Because of this, the ability to regularly lift 40-50 lbs is necessary. If you enjoy making things, working with equipment, and being able to look at the end of the day and see what you accomplished, this could be a great fit.

Pay:

From $12.50 per hour Expected hours: 37.5 per week
