Job Description
Job Overview Enviro-Safe Refrigerants is a family-owned manufacturer in Pekin, IL, making and selling refrigerants and support products for automotive, home, and refrigeration systems. We are seeking two dependable, detail-oriented Production Workers to join our small team of under 15 people. In this role, you are the production process — manufacturing parts from start to finish and making sure every unit that leaves our line meets our quality standards. We offer stable, year-round work (we have never had a layoff), a Monday-Friday day schedule with no nights or weekends, and paid certifications as the role calls for them, including forklift and HAZMAT (IATA, IMDG, DOT). Starting pay is $18.50/hour with opportunities for skill-based raises. No manufacturing experience required — we train.

most of the day is seated, repetitive, quality-focused work at a station. If you like steady, consistent work you can take pride in mastering, this is that job. Duties- Manufacture parts from start to finish — from initial check-in through bagging and boxing
- Wash parts and inspect them for imperfections at multiple points throughout the production process
- Run product through an automated can labeler (this portion of the work is performed standing)
- Monitor your own output for quality, catching and flagging defects before product moves downstream
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station
- Follow all HAZMAT and safety protocols when applicable — mandatory HAZMAT training is paid for by Enviro-Safe
- Work alongside a small team and rotate between stations as needed Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- No prior experience necessary — good work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn our manufacturing procedures matter more than your resume
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus on the manufacturing line
- Works well with others in a small-team environment
- Able to sit for extended periods, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Personal handheld devices are not permitted on the manufacturing floor
- The entire campus is a smoke-, vape-, and drug-free facility
