Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Shop Helper to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will support the manufacturing process by assisting with assembly, equipment operation, material handling, and quality checks. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help ensure smooth operations on the shop floor, contributing to efficient production and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Assist with mechanical assembly and use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to support production tasks Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products within the facility Interpret production documents, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards Support the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing machinery, adhering to safety protocols at all times Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting to transport materials or components as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with safety standards and lean manufacturing principles Collaborate with team members on process improvements and contribute to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment Requirements Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred Proficiency with measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and interpreting technical drawings Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse setting Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol requirements Mechanical knowledge or experience with mechanical assembly is advantageous Ability to interpret production documents and follow detailed instructions accurately Strong manual handling skills including heavy lifting and managing production or assembly teams when necessary Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process improvement initiatives is a plus Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork Join us in a role where your energy fuels our productivity!
