Quality Manager

• Electronics Manufacturing We are seeking a skilled Quality Manager for a contract-to-hire position with a leading custom electronics manufacturer located in Solon, Ohio.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with supervisory experience in electronics production and a passion for quality assurance. In this position, you will lead a team of Quality Inspectors and Specialists, ensuring the conformance and quality of electronics components and assemblies from raw materials all the way to the final product. You will play a key role in maintaining industry standards and continuous improvement initiatives, helping to uphold the company's reputation for excellence in electronics manufacturing. Hours:

Monday

• Thursday, 7:00 am
• 5:00 pm, Friday, 8:00 am
• 12:00 pm

Pay:

$30.00

• $40.00/hour, based on experience Key Responsibilities
• Lead, schedule, and instruct Quality personnel in all phases of production
• Investigate non-conformances, conduct audits, and analyze data to implement corrective actions
• Oversee the inspection of raw materials, in-process assemblies, and finished goods to ensure they meet standards
• Ensure Inspectors understand work instructions, prints/specs, and quality requirements
• Track and correct workmanship issues, such as defects, damage, incorrect components, or poor assembly
• Ensure proper documentation of customer and product/process information is completed and maintained
• Uphold ISO 9001 and IPC guidelines for electronics manufacturing
• Maintain and improve quality tools and related QMS software Minimum Requirements
• 5+ years of quality assurance, inspection, or documentation experience
• 3-5 years of supervision in related quality roles
• Electronics manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with quality tools and QMS software
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IPC guidelines for electronics Nice to Have Skills
• Experience with PCBAs and PCB inspection
• Soldering and solder joint evaluation or inspection experience Preferred Education and Experience
• Prior electronic manufacturing experience highly preferred
• Experience leading quality teams in an electronics environment Other Requirements
