M-F 6am - 2:30pm Fridays usually 5am - 1:30pm

Overview of Position:

Conducts a variety of electrical tests to evaluate the performance of units produced. Responsible for monitoring manufacturing compliance to written procedures.

Job Duties:

Tests parts to determine conformance to specifications (e.g. inductance resistance ratio/polarity hipot etc). Visual inspection of in-process and final parts for high reliability compliance to stringent requirements. Setup and perform mechanical testing to verify parts to specification (e.g. solderability seal test x-ray preparation resistance to solvents etc.). Submits parts to and works with customer source surveillance inspectors. Maintains documentation for reference and as objective evidence to verify manufacturing compliance. Immediate reporting of out-of-control conditions or irregularities to assure that prompt corrective action is taken. Uses testing equipment ohmmeter oscilloscope magnetics analyzer mechanical gauges and tools (e.g. calipers micrometers thread/plug gauges etc.). Inputs test data to computer

Skills and Experience:

High school or equivalent. Prior experience with test equipment such as hand tools microscopes calculators. Ability to read and follow written instructions performs basic math calculations. Basic computer skills ability to work with others as a team or individually. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English. Drug Screen and Background Check Required.
