Job Description

Laptop Testers Holliston MA Laptop Tester Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Laptop Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing laptops to ensure they meet our quality standards, identifying hardware and software issues, and reporting bugs or inconsistencies. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our products are reliable, user-friendly, and ready for market.

Laptop Tester Responsibilities:

Perform functional, performance, and durability testing on laptop units. Evaluate hardware components (keyboard, screen, ports, battery, etc.) for performance and quality. Install and test various operating systems and software applications. Run diagnostic tests and benchmarking tools to assess system performance. Document and report any defects or malfunctions found during testing. Work closely with development and engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain accurate records of test results and update product test cases as needed. Assist in developing and improving testing procedures and protocols. Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards

Laptop Tester Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred). Proven experience in hardware or laptop testing or a similar QA role. Strong understanding of computer hardware components and configurations. Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Effective communication and reporting abilities. Basic understanding of scripting or automation tools is a plus.
