Quality Assurance Technician II (QA Tech II) Position Summary The Quality Assurance Technician II is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet company quality standards and customer requirements. This position supports production through roving inspections, first-piece inspections, welding inspections, material verification, and quality documentation. This role is available for 3rd shift (10pm - 6am), Sunday to Thursday! Essential Responsibilities Perform roving inspections throughout the manufacturing process. Complete first-piece inspections and required documentation. Inspect welded parts and assemblies for quality and print compliance. Verify material, part numbers, revisions, and product identification. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols. Perform dimensional inspections using standard measuring equipment. Identify, document, and report nonconforming products. Complete inspection records accurately and maintain quality documentation. Communicate quality concerns with production personnel and supervisors. Follow all company safety and quality procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Manufacturing quality inspection experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Proficient with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
