Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. We have openings on 1st & 2nd shift! 1st shift runs 6am
- 2pm, Monday through Friday.
Experience:
1- 3 years Duties Interpret blueprints and tolerances
- HD OEM and Tubular Accuracy level required > 99%
- Able to assist operators and supervisors in print requirements Verify products
- In-process \ Customer returns \ Receiving inspection, etc. Recordkeeping
- all completed inspections documented by end of shift each day Efficiency
- 0 late deliveries reported as a result of quality process Accuracy level required > 99% Disposition all nonconforming material and assure it is properly contained \ identified by end of shift each day Gages Proficient with all lab gages
- CMM, Romer, OC, hand gages, etc. Able to calibrate all gages and accurately record results Assigned gage calibrations completed on time
- 100% PPAP submissions Able to accurately evaluate product against customer specific requirements Required accuracy rate expected > 99% Safety Responsible for following all OSHA regulations and HP Safety Practices Promote safe practices in lab
- 0 incidents \ near misses Production support Ability to problem solve \ assist production in a hectic environment Works overtime as required to support production Contribution to department Provides a minimum of 1 suggestion for improvement per quarter Waste reduction Process change Safety concern Attains no more than 5 attendance points during the previous 12 month period Ability to pass Basic, and Advanced blueprint testing within 90 days.
