Job Description

Performs routine product sampling, basic lab testing, and documenting quality data under supervision. High level of safety and quality Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.) Good problem-solving skills Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge
  • Preferred Forklift experience
  • Preferred Computer Software
  • Preferred Warehouse experience
  • Preferred High school diploma, general education diploma (GED), or equivalent experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good computer skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow complex instructions. Ability to perform basic root cause analysis skills. Ability to work with a high degree of independence. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work a flexible work schedule. Experience with web-based applications, preferred. Experience in manufacturing or mining, preferred Experience in Quality Control, preferred. Working Safely is Priority. Performs all necessary quality testing for in-process and composites as required by SKU. Follows work instructions regarding testing, reporting, non-conforming product, etc. Enters data and test results into IFS daily and into excel spreadsheets as needed. Communicates regularly with mill operator, shift supervisor, production manager and quality manager on any changes to test results, in-process testing, etc. Calibration of all QC lab equipment. Conduct product sampling and testing. Record and report results accurately. Follow safety and environmental guidelines. Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness. Assist with data entry and quality documentation. Additional duties as assigned
