Job Description

Openwork is currently seeking experienced 1st Shift Welders for a long-term opportunity in Norwood, NC. This is a safety-critical position requiring strong attention to detail, quality, and the ability to produce accurate welds that meet company standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate a MIG Welder/Wire Welder to complete welding projects according to specifications
Perform quality welds while maintaining safety and production standards
Read and interpret measurements and job requirements
Ensure proper fit, alignment, and accuracy of welded components
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Requirements:

Previous MIG welding/wire welding experience required
Strong measuring skills and attention to detail
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Ability to pass a tape measure skills assessment
Must successfully complete a welding skills test on scrap material
Must demonstrate safe work practices and reliability
