Please read before applying: This is a fully in-person position at Vintage House Soap Factory in West Seneca, New York. 1168 Orchard Park Road. It offers 12-20 hours per week at the hourly rate listed below . All shifts fall between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and may be 11:00-5:00, 11:00-3:00, or 3:00-5:00, but are flexible to your preference. We cannot offer remote work, evening shifts, or full-time hours for this position. VHS is located in a beautiful 100-year-old farmhouse on busy Orchard Park Road in West Seneca. We are looking for a creative and energetic Content Creator to help us connect with our neighbors, surrounding communities, and customers near and far. The main focus of this position will be creating fresh, engaging content across all our platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. You will take photographs, create posts, film and edit video Reels, and capture the products, workshops, events, and personality that make VHS special. You will also help us stay connected with customers through email, text messaging, our Square website, and fun monthly promotions. Because we are a small business, we all wear different hats. Content creation will be your primary responsibility, but you will also occasionally assist customers, work at the counter, help with ordering, and take part in selecting exciting new products for our gift shop. You certainly will never be bored! This is a creative, varied, and rewarding position where your ideas and work will have a direct impact on the growth of a well-established local business. Someone Who:

Has experience creating posts, photographs, videos, and Reels Understands Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms Is comfortable using AI tools to develop content ideas, captions, emails, and promotions Is creative, friendly, dependable, organized, and self-motivated Is comfortable working with customers and helping wherever needed Enjoys contributing ideas and being part of a creative small-business environment Is familiar with—or willing to learn—Constant Contact and Square Applicants must submit a resume, examples of content they have personally created, and at least three professional references from previous employers.
