VP of Marketing PURPOSE:

Act as the event planner and coordinator of credit union events. Represent the credit union with enthusiasm, encouraging participation from the public and employees. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns. Assist with various marketing tasks such as website updates, member communications, social media, and any other marketing related activity, as directed by the VP of Marketing.

Associate's degree or equivalent experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan, coordinate, and execute events to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This includes, but is not limited to: •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless event logistics. Act as the enthusiastic face of the credit union during live events, ensuring a positive and genuine brand representation. Engage with event attendees to promote products/services and answer inquiries. Encourage and promote employee participation in events. Take photos during credit union events. Maintain photo and slide show for the credit union. 2. Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns. Create and manage promotional materials for events, both online and offline. 3. Coordinate activities between the credit union and marketing vendors. Responsible for follow-up to ensure project is meeting the required timeline. 4. Utilize Microsoft Excel skills for data entry, analysis, and reporting. Maintain accurate records of event metrics, participant feedback, and other relevant data. 5. Design, schedule and execute social media posts, as directed. 6. Perform marketing related clerical tasks, as needed. 7. Enthusiastically support the credit union's focus on member sales and service. a. Provides sales support to front-line sales positions b. Actively seek out sales opportunities and cross-sell opportunities and promote credit union products and services based on member needs. From time to time, refer these opportunities to the front office staff. 8. Represent and promote the credit union at external community and industry events, earning the minimum number of Community Involvement Points (CIP's) per year. 9. Cross-train and back up other team members for selected critical job functions. 10. Other duties at assigned.
