Job Description
Cashier Wasson Nursery Inc - 4.3 Fishers, IN Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Retail sales transactions Visitor query response Retail customer service procedures Maintaining an organized workspace Outdoor work experience Answering guest questions Cash register operations Customer engagement Clean workspace maintenance Guest rapport building Entry level Full Job Description
•This is a seasonal position, subject to temporary, part-time, or full-time work depending on experience and need of the company
•Do you like plants, people, and a job where the scenery changes with the seasons? Wasson is looking for a friendly, reliable Cashier to be the smiling face that sends our customers home and happy (and probably a little dirtier than when they arrived).
What You'll Be Doing:
Ringing up plants, pottery, mulch, and all thing gardeners didn't plan to buy. Greeting customers and making them feel welcome from hello to checkout. Answering basic questions (or knowing who to call when someone asks about a plant you've never met before). Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and running smoothly. Being a part of the garden center energy during our busiest, and most exciting, seasons. Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
You enjoy talking to people and helping them have a great experience. You're dependable, detail-oriented, and can handle a busy day with a positive attitude. You're comfortable working on your feet and outdoors at times. Plant knowledge is great, curiosity and willingness to learn is even better!
Why You'll Love Working Here:
You'll work in a place filled with plants instead of aisles of cereal. No two days look the same (and spring is never boring). You'll learn about plants just by being around them. You'll be a part of a team that values kindness, teamwork, and doing things well.
Pay:
Competitive, based on experience. If you like friendly conversations, fresh air, and being part of a place people love to visit, we'd love to meet you! Apply today and grow with us at Wasson!
