Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to support inventory and order operations. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping materials organized, ensuring orders move accurately and on time, and communicating clearly with customers about shipment status. The person in this role will help maintain reliable stock records while contributing to efficient fulfillment and packing activities.
Responsibilities:
Process incoming parts requests and prepare orders accurately to support timely fulfillment.
Communicate with customers regarding order progress, expected ship dates, and any changes that may affect delivery timing.
Pack parts for shipment with attention to accuracy, condition, and proper handling procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and update stock records to help maintain dependable availability of parts and materials.
Assist with tracking spare parts and asset inventory to improve organization and visibility across stock items.
Support physical inventory activities, including cycle counts and annual inventory reviews, to confirm record accuracy.
Coordinate with internal team members to resolve order discrepancies, backorders, or fulfillment issues quickly.
Maintain organized storage areas so parts can be located, picked, and prepared efficiently. Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in inventory, stockroom, warehouse, or order fulfillment work.
Practical knowledge of inventory tracking and asset inventory processes.
Experience handling auto parts, spare parts, or similar product categories.
Ability to pack and prepare orders accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for providing customers with order updates and delivery information.
Familiarity with annual physical inventory procedures and stock verification activities.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple orders and priorities effectively.
