Job description: Job Overview Busy property management office on the North Shore is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant/Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities such as:
Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
Act as first point of contact between residents and management office.
Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
Handling maintenance work order process including initial call, entry and tracking/reporting
Leasing - assist with marketing efforts, show apartments to prospects, lease signings and lease renewal process.
Maintain an organized office environment by managing supplies and equipment.
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Collaborate with team members to support various administrative projects as needed.
Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information while handling administrative tasks.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role within an office environment.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with property management software, Resman, is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
Attention to detail and accuracy in performing clerical tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school education or equivalent.
Some previous residential property manager experience is preferred, willing to train the right candidate.
Customer service experience.
Valid driver's license and vehicle necessary for leasing activity Pre-employment background test and drug test required.
