Job Description
Job description: Job Overview Busy property management office on the North Shore is seeking a highly organized and motivated Administrative Assistant/Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in supporting daily office operations, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities such as:
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
- Act as first point of contact between residents and management office.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Handling maintenance work order process including initial call, entry and tracking/reporting
- Leasing - assist with marketing efforts, show apartments to prospects, lease signings and lease renewal process.
- Maintain an organized office environment by managing supplies and equipment.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to support various administrative projects as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information while handling administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role within an office environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with property management software, Resman, is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing clerical tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school education or equivalent.
- Some previous residential property manager experience is preferred, willing to train the right candidate.
- Customer service experience.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle necessary for leasing activity Pre-employment background test and drug test required.
