Job Description
Seeking a customer-focused Leasing Coordinator to support leasing operations at an 80 unit affordable housing community. This role is responsible for managing prospective residents from initial inquiry through move-in while ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations. The position is paying $21/hour with a schedule of 8:30am - 5pm Mon-Fri.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to leasing inquiries, conduct property tours, and follow up with prospects.
- Qualify applicants and prepare lease, renewal, and recertification documentation.
- Maintain waitlists, resident files, and accurate leasing records.
- Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, and Fair Housing guidelines.
- Coordinate outreach, marketing events, and resident retention initiatives.
- Track leasing activity, occupancy, and conversion metrics.
- Verify applicant income, assets, and household eligibility.
- Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and prospects.
- Provide notary services as needed.
