Specialty Retail Store Manager We're seeking an energetic Specialty Retail Store Manager who leads with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a strong customer-first mindset. Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets through coaching, training, and performance management. Oversee and drive store operations, including: inventory control and stock replenishment Manage onboarding and training so team members are knowledgeable about products and customer service expectations. Participate in recruiting, including conducting interviews and supporting hiring to build a high-performing team aligned with company values. Handle cash and manage POS systems accurately and with integrity, ensuring correct transactions and accountability. Supervise daily shift operations , including cashiering, customer interactions, and task execution to maintain efficient store flow. Use strong communication to coordinate across shifts , resolve customer concerns promptly, and maintain a positive store atmosphere. Demonstrate negotiation and problem-solving skills when working with vendors or resolving internal issues to achieve favorable outcomes. Experience & Qualifications Proven experience in retail management—preferably in specialty/gourmet food or similarly curated retail environments. Demonstrated success managing inventory control and executing effective operational strategies. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic financial/math accuracy for daily transactions. Strong leadership and communication skills; bilingual/multilingual is a plus. Familiarity with retail math (pricing strategies, sales analysis, budgeting, merchandising principles). Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Knowledge of inventory management techniques that support stock accuracy and shrink reduction. Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organization and time management. Experience running training and development initiatives that improve team performance and customer service.
