Duties Engage with customers in retail or on-route settings to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services. Build strong customer relationships through personalized communication and attentive service. Conduct upselling by identifying opportunities to enhance sales and meet customer needs with additional products or services. Manage route driving responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe driving practices. Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing displays, stock replenishment, and maintaining store presentation standards. Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when managing inventory or transporting automobile parts or equipment. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and client interactions for organizational efficiency. Skills Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Basic math skills for calculating pricing, discounts, and totals accurately. Knowledge of pricing strategies and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities. Experience in retail store environments or automobile transportation enhances your ability to connect with customers and understand product details. Familiarity with commercial truck driving or route driving ensures compliance with safety standards during deliveries. Customer relationship building skills that foster trust and repeat business.
