Every week, couples come to us with a picture in their heads and no real idea how to get there. Helping them figure it out — and then watching it all come together — is the best part of this job. As a Catering Sales Manager, you're their guide. You'll listen to what they're dreaming about, hear what they're worried about, and show them how it can actually happen here. That relationship is where everything starts. It's why couples book with us, and it's why they trust us with the day itself. And you'll be there for the day too, coordinating the wedding day itself and making sure everything feels easy for the people it matters most to. What you'll do Build real relationships. Host tours, follow up on inquiries, and get to know the couples who walk in. Listen more than you pitch. Help them find their yes. Guide couples toward the package and enhancements that truly fit what they want, so they book feeling excited and confident Plan the details. Timelines, headcounts, floor plans, vendors — the specifics that turn a signed contract into a beautiful day. Keep everyone in the loop. Details live in Salesforce, Word, Excel, and Outlook. This is someone's wedding, and your whole team relies on what you write down — clear notes are how couples stay confident and days run smoothly. Coordinate the wedding day. You're right there with the couple and the wedding party, running the timeline and guiding each moment so they can relax and enjoy it. Roll with the day. Questions come up and plans shift. You handle it warmly and calmly, and the celebration keeps right on going. Who does well here You're a natural listener. You ask thoughtful questions and remember the details that matter to people. You've worked toward goals and reached them. You get there by building trust, never by pushing. You pitch in. There's no "not my job" here. It's someone's wedding day, and we all do whatever it takes to make it right. You've done this before. 2+ years in catering sales, event sales, or hospitality preferred. A degree is a plus, not a requirement. You communicate well everywhere. In person, on the phone, over email, in front of a room, and in the notes you leave for your team. You love weddings and you love helping people. That combination is what makes this job feel good on a Saturday night. Without it, it's just a long day.
