Positions are located throughout the state. This is professional work in the chemical analysis and examination of a wide variety of substances and materials in state laboratories. Responsibilities

• Note:

  Equivalent to Microbiologist, Senior duties
• Plan/direct the work of sections by monitoring workflow
• Ensure employees are trained
• Perform specimen/sample processing, testing, and reporting results
• Monitor performance/documentation of: function checks, preventive maintenance, and quality control Proficiency testing activities
