This full-time, year-long position offers the rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 caseload at a single, supportive site. As a valued member of the school community, youll provide individualized social-emotional counseling and interventions, foster positive school culture, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote student success.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Counseling is required; a Masters degree is preferred. Active Arizona State Counselor License (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, or LAC) is required. Experience with K-12 age groups and an understanding of school-based counseling best practices. Compassionate communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working with students, staff, and families. Commitment to ethical standards and student confidentiality.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct support and counseling services to K-12 students, individually and in groups. Develop and implement social-emotional learning (SEL) initiatives and intervention plans. Partner with teachers, school staff, and families to identify and address student needs. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to help craft effective IEP or 504 plans when needed. Maintain accurate, timely student records in compliance with regulations. Provide crisis intervention and referral services as necessary.
