Approximately 300 enrolled high school students School Counselor Responsibilities The School Counselor will provide comprehensive counseling services in accordance with applicable Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) requirements .

Responsibilities may include:

Providing school counseling services to high school students Supporting students with academic, career, and post-secondary planning Assisting students with social-emotional development and student success Collaborating with teachers, administrators, families, and other school personnel Supporting students in identifying and achieving educational and career goals Maintaining appropriate student documentation and records Providing services and performing duties aligned with MDE requirements Participating as an integral member of the schools educational support team Requirements & Licensure Mississippi Standard Teacher License with appropriate school counseling endorsements Eligibility to provide school counseling services in a Mississippi school setting Experience working with high school students is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to supporting the academic, social-emotional, and career development of students Compensation & Benefits ProCare Therapy offers a comprehensive compensation package designed to support your professional and personal well-being.
