Youll work with an enrolled caseload of approximately 300 high school students, all at a single site, and collaborate with educators and staff to support students academic, social, and emotional success.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Mississippi Standard Teachers License is required Experience supporting high school-aged students preferred Ability to foster a positive, inclusive environment for students Strong communication and organizational skills Understanding of current counseling practices and confidentiality standards

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver counseling services in accordance with MDE guidelines and school policies Provide individual and group counseling, supporting students academic planning, social development, and emotional well-being Collaborate with faculty and parents to identify student needs and implement effective interventions Maintain accurate and confidential records for a caseload of approximately 300 students Participate in school-wide initiatives and offer crisis intervention as needed Contribute to a welcoming, supportive campus culture This position offers a 40-hour workweek over five days, allowing you to build strong connections within the school community and make a real difference every day.
