In this role, you will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, and underserved communities. Your energy and dedication will foster growth, independence, and confidence in each individual you serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your expertise in social services, workforce development, and coaching. Responsibilities Develop tailored coaching plans that align with clients' goals, needs, and abilities. Provide one-on-one mentoring and support to help clients enhance life skills, employment readiness, and social integration. Conduct assessments to identify strengths and areas for growth in clients with disabilities or developmental challenges. Facilitate training sessions on workforce development topics, social skills, or other relevant areas. Maintain detailed case management records, progress notes, and service documentation using Microsoft Office tools. Communicate effectively with clients through interviews, client meetings, and ongoing feedback to foster trust and motivation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services. Support clients in navigating social services systems and understanding employment laws such as labor regulations. Mentor colleagues and new staff by sharing best practices in coaching, social work techniques, and cultural competency. Qualifications Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Knowledge of employment & labor law as it relates to workforce development programs. Strong background in social services, case management, or related fields such as addiction counseling or social work. Excellent written communication skills for documentation and client reporting. Ability to conduct effective interviewing and client communication to assess needs and progress. Experience working with culturally diverse communities and underserved populations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for record keeping and reporting purposes. Demonstrated ability to mentor others and facilitate training & development initiatives. Pay:
