We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and providing excellent care. This role will monitor and partake in the needs and care of Sheltering Arms residents under the direction and leadership of the Resident Attendant Supervisor.

Expected Schedule:

Part-Time, 16 hours/week; 2:00pm- 10:00pm & 10:00pm - 6:00am Weekends & Holidays as

Scheduled Outline of Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate an understanding of the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of the residents and proper ways to work with the population served. Perform administrative duties including but not limited to documenting daily rounds by: observing, reporting and documenting any physical or behavioral changes observed with any resident, create reports and copies as required. Perform any/all duties such as administer medications; assist with treatments; take & record vitals as required; Assists residents with personal care, linen changes and laundry collection per resident schedule. Demonstrates safe techniques in personal hygiene and grooming that include showering, shampooing, nail and hair care, oral hygiene, and toileting, and daily monitoring residents clothing for presentability and cleanliness based resident need. Occasional night attendant coverage may be required to ensure licensing compliance. Always remain on duty and available during a shift, including during paid breaks.
