Caregivers or CNAs in Chapel Hill, NC and nearby or surrounding areas. Bluedot Cares is a locally owned home care company. In 2020, we were recognized as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the US. We are hiring 15+ caregivers immediately. We seek an attentive and trustworthy caregiver to join our staff and provide excellent care to our clients. The caregiver will plan and follow a daily care schedule with clients, modify care plans as prescribed by medical professionals, and report on any new conditions or needs that may arise. You will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by offering companionship, assistance with personal care, and helping them maintain their independence in the comfort of their homes. We are looking for dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide overnight care and support to our clients.
Schedule:
9:00 PM - 9:00 AM Required days are flexible Full-time/PRN opportunities may be available
Responsibilities:
Personal Care:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while preserving their dignity and privacy
Medication Management:
Ensure clients take their prescribed medications on time, follow the medication schedule, and provide medication reminders as needed.
Companionship:
Foster emotional well-being by engaging in meaningful conversations, playing games, reading, and providing companionship and support.
Meal Preparation:
Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences, and assist clients with eating if necessary.
Mobility Assistance:
Help clients with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and mobility aids as required.
Housekeeping:
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for the client.
Transportation:
Provide transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.
Monitoring Health:
Observe and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals or family members.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any incidents. Respect for

Promote and encourage the client's independence while offering assistance and support as necessary.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred but not required Previous caregiving experience of at least one (1) year CPR and First Aid certification (can be obtained after hiring) Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required for the job) Flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time) Training and professional development opportunities Supportive and caring work environment Meaningful work that makes a positive impact on people's lives Interested in joining BlueDot Cares?
