Director of Mission Integration Introduction:
This member of the senior leadership team collaborates to develop and implement strategic initiatives to instill Felician-Franciscan core values and a commitment to the mission. This leader will hold a deep understanding that mission integration is the sum of the processes, programs, and relationships that serve to enhance all team members' and community stakeholders' understanding and commitment to the tradition and Felician-Franciscan values.
Director of Mission Integration Qualifications:
Academic preparation and relevant experience in theology, religious studies, or a related field. Experience in adult learning strategies, and expertise creating and delivering effective ministry formation programs and materials. Experience working with the elderly and their families including end-of-life care. Experience and ability to foster interfaith dialogue and activities. Comprehensive knowledge of Catholic principles, values, and social teaching including the Ethical and Religious Directives of Catholic Health Care . Practicing Catholic in good standing with a letter from their parish Pastor. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and comfortable learning new software and applications.
Director of Mission Integration Job Summary:
Collaborate with senior leadership in all aspects of operations, i.e., strategic planning, policy development, leadership/staff development, and finance/budget. Serve as a resource to the senior leadership team by raising values-based questions and concerns related to operations and decision-making. Develop, implement, lead, and coordinate effective charism and mission integration and ministry formation programs including the Annual Mission and Heritage Week. Assure that Charism, Mission and Core Values orientation and ongoing formation programs are provided for board members, leadership, staff, and volunteers. Maintain an active and visible presence on the ministry campus, especially among those being served to promote the development of and model a charism and mission-infused culture. Oversee Pastoral Care ensuring spiritual care needs are met for residents, families, and staff of all faith traditions and spiritual beliefs. Assure the visibility of appropriate symbols and art that reflect the Catholic identity of the ministry. Prepare and recommend an annual budget for mission-related activities. Serve as a resource to marketing and communications to ensure the ministry identifies itself as a Felician Sponsored Ministry.
