In this contract role, you'll work onsite in the Bronson, MI area, providing vital social and emotional support to K-12 students from August 24, 2026, through June 4, 2027 (35 hours per week). You will collaborate with school staff, students, and families to foster a positive and inclusive school climate. What we're seeking: Current and valid Michigan Social Worker licensure Experience in school settings, especially with K-12 students Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, crisis intervention, and individualized education plans (IEPs) Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality Experience developing and implementing support plans for students facing a variety of social and behavioral challenges Your key responsibilities: Provide social-emotional support and interventions to students onsite Develop and facilitate individualized or group interventions that address behavioral, social, and emotional needs Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families regarding students' needs and progress Participate in IEP and student support meetings Assist in crisis management and provide resources or referrals for community-based services Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines Take advantage of a caseload that aligns with your preferences, discussed openly during your interview to ensure the right fit.
