Required Skills & Experience:

Active Michigan Social Worker credential is a must Background or experience in school-based social work preferred Ability to effectively support students across elementary, middle, and high school Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and community resources Flexible and resourceful, with a commitment to student success and well-being

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to K-12 students, addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement individualized support plans Conduct assessments and participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies for student success Serve as a liaison between schools, families, and community agencies to streamline access to needed resources Maintain thorough and confidential documentation, adhering to all state and district protocols This role consists of 35 hours per week, across five days, providing steady engagement with students and school staff in a supportive environment.
