Key Qualifications:

Valid Michigan social work license required Previous experience as a social worker in educational settings is highly desirable Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to adapt approach based on individual student needs and school environments Commitment to confidentiality, advocacy, and student-focused solutions Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities

Responsibilities Include:

Providing social-emotional and behavioral support to K-12 students Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to address barriers to learning Leading or participating in intervention plans, crisis response, and prevention programs facilitating groups or one-on-one counseling sessions Conducting assessments, maintaining thorough records, and advocating for students best interests Participating in IEP, 504, and other multidisciplinary team meetings Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school climate
