• Duties

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based practices, including DSM-5 criteria and ICD coding standards. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to client needs. Engage in crisis management and intervention to ensure immediate safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or trauma. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating psychopharmacology coordination, addiction counseling, PTSD care, autism spectrum disorder interventions, and developmental disabilities support. Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, medical terminology standards, and medical social work protocols within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, medical professionals, educators, and community agencies to coordinate holistic patient care. Collect data for clinical research projects focused on behavioral health outcomes, ensuring compliance with research protocols and confidentiality policies. Header

• Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the respective state or jurisdiction. Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and case management within hospital or community settings. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluation tools (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards. Expertise working with children, adolescents, adults with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, substance use disorders, Geriatrics populations including Alzheimer's care and geriatrics. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, clinical research procedures, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology relevant to psychiatric patient care. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure situations while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies.
