  • Supervision Toward Independent Licensure Best Practice Psychotherapy | Woodbridge, Connecticut Part-Time | W-2 Build Your Clinical Skills in a Supportive Group Practice Best Practice Psychotherapy (BPP) is a growing outpatient mental health group practice in Woodbridge, Connecticut, providing thoughtful, personalized psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
We are seeking a Connecticut-licensed LMSW or LPCA who is committed to becoming a strong, independently licensed clinician and is looking for a practice where clinical development, supervision, collaboration, and quality of care are valued. This position is especially well suited for an early-career therapist who wants meaningful clinical experience while working toward independent licensure. What You Will Do Provide individual psychotherapy to clients within your areas of competence and interest Conduct clinical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation Use evidence-based and clinically appropriate interventions Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues regarding client care Participate actively in clinical supervision and consultation Maintain professional, ethical, and reliable communication with clients and the BPP team Build and maintain a consistent part-time caseload
What We Are Looking For Required:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, or an appropriately related clinical discipline Current Connecticut LMSW or LPCA license Commitment to obtaining independent clinical licensure Strong interpersonal and clinical communication skills Dependability, professionalism, and timely documentation Openness to supervision, feedback, and continued clinical development Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a clinical team Especially valued: Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families Interest or experience in anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationships, or family concerns Training in evidence-based psychotherapy approaches Interest in developing an area of clinical specialization over time Ability to provide some in-person services in Woodbridge What BPP Provides Clinical supervision toward independent licensure Established administrative and scheduling support Billing and insurance support Referral and caseload-building support Flexible part-time scheduling Opportunities for clinical consultation and professional development A collaborative practice environment with clinicians serving diverse populations and clinical needs Opportunity to grow professionally within an expanding group practice Compensation $40
  • 45 per hour , based on clinical experience and qualifications.
This is a part-time W-2 position. BPP currently does not provide medical insurance benefits for part-time clinicians.
