This dynamic role combines childcare with optional household management offering 6 additional hours per week to candidates interested in taking on extra tasks, offering an engaging opportunity to support a family's daily routines while ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and passionate about providing exceptional care and household support. This paid position is perfect for someone who thrives in a flexible, fast-paced setting and enjoys making a positive impact on children's lives. Responsibilities Provide attentive childcare for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are met. Assist with preschool activities, educational play, and age-appropriate learning experiences. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary requirements. Support children with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, and nap schedules. Manage household tasks including cleaning, laundry, organizing toys and supplies, and maintaining a tidy living environment. Run errands and provide personal transportation assistance for children to activities or appointments. Care for children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored caregiving strategies and working closely with healthcare providers when necessary. Ensure safety protocols are followed by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications; respond promptly to emergencies if needed. Oversee household inventory of supplies and coordinate with vendors for necessary household services. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in roles such as nannying, babysitting, or daycare assistance. Prior experience managing household chores in a private home setting or residential housekeeping background. Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and preschool activities. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; ongoing training preferred. Strong skills in meal preparation tailored to children's nutritional needs. Ability to assist with personal transportation for children safely and responsibly. Excellent organizational skills to manage household tasks efficiently while providing attentive childcare. Compassionate demeanor combined with active communication skills to foster positive relationships with children and family members.
