Tiger Den Childcare Aide

Job Description

Job Overview The In-School Wraparound Care Aide supports students throughout the day in Tiger Den by providing supervision, behavioral support, and assistance with daily routines to ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment. Responsibilities Supervise and support students in the Tiger Den Assist with behavior regulation and implementation of individualized support plans Build positive relationships with students to promote engagement and well-being Support students with social skills, routines and independent functioning Collaborate with Tiger Den Director and staff to maintain consistency in expectations Ensure student safety at all times Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or classroom settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Demonstrated commitment to creating a safe, inclusive environment for all children The Howards Grove School District does not discriminate in the employment of professional and/or support staff on the basis of any characteristic protected under State or Federal law including, but not limited to race, color, age, sex, creed, or religion, handicap or disability, marital status, genetic information, citizenship status, veteran status, military service (as defined in 111.32, Wis.
