Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, creativity, social skills, and physical activity Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining vigilant supervision at all times Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns Assist with classroom organization, activity setup, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care Skills Experience working with children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age kids Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Proven ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and guidance techniques First aid and CPR certification to ensure prompt response in emergency situations Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and fun while supporting developmental milestones Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating reliable child supervision and activity management Familiarity with mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with child protection regulations Nannying or babysitting experience is beneficial for versatile caregiving skills Join us at Georgia Mae's ChildCare where your dedication helps shape bright futures!
