In this vital role, you will manage daily operations of the childcare center, ensure a safe and nurturing environment for children, and foster positive relationships with families and staff. Your leadership will promote high-quality care, support staff development, and uphold compliance with all licensing and safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives while guiding a dedicated team of caregivers and educators. Duties Oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning Develop, implement, and monitor age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote childhood development and learning Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching staff to maintain high standards of childcare and classroom management Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid and CPR certifications Foster strong communication with parents through regular updates, meetings, and responsive support Manage enrollment processes, maintain accurate records, and ensure proper documentation for licensing requirements Coordinate staff training on topics such as special education needs, behavior management, infant care, toddler care, and classroom safety Qualifications Proven experience working with children across various age groups including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with disabilities Demonstrated classroom management skills along with experience in childcare or daycare center supervision Knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and teaching strategies for young children Certifications in first aid, CPR (Childhood & Pediatric First Aid), mandated reporting laws, and child safety protocols are required or highly preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team while maintaining a positive learning environment Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with parents, staff, and community partners Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Join us in creating a vibrant community where children thrive through engaging learning experiences!
