In support of the Aspen Grove Lead Pastor and the Overseers, they will team with other site leaders and key network staff people to execute the vision, strategy, and operational leadership of Aspen Grove. Supported by, and in communication with, the Aspen Grove Lead Pastor and New Site staff, they will cast vision, lead strategy, and oversee the operational leadership of New Site. This person will be a gifted mentor who will shepherd New Site congregation, leadership, and staff to discover and use the gifts they have been given as we strive to love God and love others. This person will deliver God's Word with faithfulness to the text in a compelling and relevant fashion and also empower others to do likewise during weekend services.
Objectives and Responsibilities:
Cast a clear vision for the short, medium, and long term of New Site
Lead strategic planning for New Site Church
Manage all New Site finances and budgets
Strategically implement pastoral care for New Site community
Work collaboratively
Empower other staff
Equip attenders
Develop and maintain alignment across New Site ministries
Innovate new approaches in all areas of ministry
Integrate innovative approaches from other sites and other churches in all areas of ministry
Ongoingly evaluate and then adjust via new objectives
Work with Aspen Grove staff and New Site staff to recruit, hire, integrate, and develop staff
Serve as the lead for preaching at New Site in a role that is shared among developing and seasoned staff and contractors
Lead the congregation toward significant spiritual decisions as evidenced by people proclaiming their faith, being baptized, and growing as followers of Jesus
Lead by example in areas of significant and humble service

Consistent spiritual disciplines
Display evidence of spiritual fruit (Galatians 5:22-23)
Values and displays a growing knowledge of, and passion for, Scripture
Clearly demonstrates humility and a desire to learn and be taught
Is committed to significant roles for women in ministry
Highly values and is committed to making disciples as a primary expression of following Jesus
Has a burden for those who don't know Jesus or haven't fully surrendered to him
Values an entrepreneurial work environment
Has demonstrated a work ethic marked by productivity, independence, and reliability
Is a team player willing to cooperate and dedicated to healthy communication with team members
Qualifications:
Agreement with the statement of faith of Aspen Grove Church Network
Agreement with the Aspen Grove statement of Marriage, Sexuality, and Gender for Staff and Overseers
Embrace the mission, vision, values, and practices of Aspen Grove Church Network staff
Embrace the mission, vision, values, and practices of New Site Church
Have a history of significant leadership experience in a church context, including staff oversight, with demonstrated growth of effectiveness and outcome
Preferably hold a master's degree or equivalent from an accredited, theologically-aligned seminary
Work Schedule:
A vast majority of Sunday mornings
Twice monthly Aspen Grove staff meetings (currently Mondays)
Weekly New Site staff meetings (currently Tuesdays)
Regular meetings with your supervisor and the people you supervise
Must be able to meet when volunteers are available or when care is needed
Other independent and collaborative work time is required but flexible (established in conversation with your supervisor and the teams you are a part of)

Reports to Aspen Grove Lead Pastor
Member of Aspen Grove Leadership Team
Member of Aspen Grove Teaching Team
Leads and Supervises New Site Staff (either directly or through your direct reports)
Teams with other Lead Pastors in Aspen Grove
Teams with All Staff in Aspen Grove as able and/or assigned
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
