Job Description

Primary Duties:

Biblical preaching and teaching that evangelizes the lost and challenges and edifies the believer.
Develop sermons and sermon series and provide sound Biblical expository preaching/teaching with relevant application.
A love for people and the ability to connect/relate to people of all ages.
Lead Sunday worship service and any midweek services.
Maintain oversight of the ministries of the church.
Work with church leadership to communicate the church vision.
Serve as an ex-officio member of committees.
Serve as moderator for church members' meetings.
Lead in love, as a servant-leader, and shepherd the staff.
Represent FBC Mt. Orab in the local community.
Pastoral care and Biblical counseling to members/community.
Conduct weddings and funerals of church members.
Oversee and assist the deacons with benevolence.
Direct and assist the elders and deacons with hospital/shut-in visits.
Meets the qualifications for a church leader from 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:6-9. If you are interested and believe you are qualified for this position, please submit the following:
