Job Description
Primary Duties:
- Biblical preaching and teaching that evangelizes the lost and challenges and edifies the believer.
- Develop sermons and sermon series and provide sound Biblical expository preaching/teaching with relevant application.
- A love for people and the ability to connect/relate to people of all ages.
- Lead Sunday worship service and any midweek services.
- Maintain oversight of the ministries of the church.
- Work with church leadership to communicate the church vision.
- Serve as an ex-officio member of committees.
- Serve as moderator for church members' meetings.
- Lead in love, as a servant-leader, and shepherd the staff.
- Represent FBC Mt. Orab in the local community.
- Pastoral care and Biblical counseling to members/community.
- Conduct weddings and funerals of church members.
- Oversee and assist the deacons with benevolence.
- Direct and assist the elders and deacons with hospital/shut-in visits.
- Meets the qualifications for a church leader from 1 Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:6-9. If you are interested and believe you are qualified for this position, please submit the following:
