Bachelors Degree Our client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Part Time Substance Abuse Counselor in the South Plainfield, NJ area.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Conducts assessments and develops a service plan
• Provide counseling treatment
• Facilitate individual or group therapies in home with youth and families
• Conducts treatment plans for individual, and/or groups
• Schedule intakes and appointments in a timely fashion
• Provide ongoing assesments for saftey risks and utilize interventions to mitigate saftey issues.
• Provides Psycho-education on harm reduction

CLIENT'S SCHEDULE FOR THE OPPORTUNITY

• upto 25 Hours per week - Schedule is flexible in both morning and evening hours

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have LCADC, CADC or CADC Intern License or status in the state of NJ
• TB, Physical, MMR Titers or Vaccination Record
• Background Check
• Must meet the License(s) requirement
• Must have experience working with the drug and alcohol population
