Job Description

Thrive Counseling is seeking a positive and energetic chemical dependency counselor with experience in individual counseling and group counseling at an Outpatient Treatment Center. This position requires a minimum of a CDCA, with supervision provided.

Duties for the position include:

Individual and group counseling
Timely documentation
Conduct urine screens
Knowledge of client rights
Knowledge of confidentiality regulations
Ability to abide by all agency policies
Assist with increasing personal empowerment and helping client set and achieve goals
Teaches substance use recovery and relapse prevention skills as indicated on their Individualized Treatment Plan
Links clients to needed resources in the community

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required with a CDCA. Must be able to pass drug screen and have appropriate BCI/FBI.
