Job Description
Thrive Counseling is seeking a positive and energetic chemical dependency counselor with experience in individual counseling and group counseling at an Outpatient Treatment Center. This position requires a minimum of a CDCA, with supervision provided.
Duties for the position include:
- Individual and group counseling
- Timely documentation
- Conduct urine screens
- Knowledge of client rights
- Knowledge of confidentiality regulations
- Ability to abide by all agency policies
- Assist with increasing personal empowerment and helping client set and achieve goals
- Teaches substance use recovery and relapse prevention skills as indicated on their Individualized Treatment Plan
- Links clients to needed resources in the community
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required with a CDCA. Must be able to pass drug screen and have appropriate BCI/FBI.Job Type:

$18.00- $24.
