ERP Business Systems Analyst Intern (Paid Internship) Military & Commercial Fasteners in York has an opportunity for a student looking to break into the IT industry! We are looking for a part-time (20 hours a week) intern. You can pick your hours, between 6am and 5pm M-F at a max of 20 per week. For the right candidate this could turn into a full-time opportunity upon graduation! Position Overview We are looking for an intern to assist with the administration, analysis, and improvement of our ERP system and related business applications. This role is a good fit for someone with some existing technical experience who wants to build on their skills in SQL, data analysis, application integrations, and business systems.

The intern will work with IT and business users to troubleshoot issues, analyze data, document processes, and assist with system improvements and integrations. Candidates with previous internship experience, coursework, or hands-on projects involving databases, programming, or business applications are encouraged to apply . Responsibilities Assist with ERP system support, troubleshooting, testing, and configuration. Write SQL queries to retrieve, review, and analyze business data. Work with business users to understand processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Assist with integrations between the ERP and other business applications. Test and troubleshoot REST APIs and work with JSON data. Assist with basic scripting or application development using C# or other relevant programming languages. Help develop and maintain workflows and automations using Microsoft Power Platform. Document system configurations, business processes, queries, and integrations. Assist with reporting, data validation, and other business systems projects. Preferred Qualifications Candidates should have some familiarity with one or more of the following areas:

SQL and Data Analysis:

Basic SQL queries, relational databases, Excel, or reporting tools.

API Integrations:

REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods such as OAuth or Basic Authentication, or experience connecting applications.

Programming:

Basic experience with C#, Python, JavaScript, or another programming language. Willingness to learn C# or the language used by our ERP platform is important.

Microsoft Power Platform:

Exposure to Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power BI.

Business Systems:

Familiarity with ERP systems, databases, accounting systems, inventory management, purchasing, manufacturing, or other business applications.

Additional qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Software Development, or a related field. Previous internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience in IT, software development, data analysis, or business systems is a plus. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to learn unfamiliar software and technologies independently. Good communication skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate has some practical experience with databases, programming, or application support and an interest in how technology supports business operations.
