AOI Operator/Programmer Details:

Temp-to-Hire position $21.50 /hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm) Operate AOI equipment to inspect PCB assemblies for defects including missing components, misalignment, polarity & orientation errors, solder defects and tombstoning. Create, edit, and optimize AOI inspection programs from YCD files, BOMs and physical boards; tune inspection parameters to minimize false calls while maintaining defect coverage. Document inspection results, defect data & provide feedback to SMT and reflow. Fill out defect trackers for rework associates when applicable. Maintain inspection programs under revision control & update programs as engineering changes or board revisions occur while following our internal change control processes. Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration checks & basic troubleshooting; escalate equipment issues as needed to tech department. Communicate inspection findings & quality trends to production & quality personnel. Support continuous improvement efforts & maintain compliance with the company's quality management system.

AOI Operator/Programmer Qualifications:

Working knowledge of SMT assembly processes & common assembly defects. Ability to read & interpret assembly guides & BOMs. Familiarity with

IPC-A-610

acceptability standards or willingness to obtain certification. Strong attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency & comfortable learning inspection software. Able to work independently & communicate effectively with production & quality teams.
